Guest guest
Does anyone know of a set that would stimulate the gall bladder....I couldn't remember ever coming across anything specific for this...I wonder if any sets for, digestion, would be the thing to do or exercises that stimualte the 3rd chakra? I had a student asking about this... Any thoughts? Sat Sangeet
Guest guest
Gall Bladder and Liver are energetically intertwined and physically together. Sets that work the liver or liver meridian would also have effects on the Gall Bladder. And there are correlations between digestion and 3rd Chakra. Watch the language you use in describing this, however. Guest guest
---Two of the best exercises for the gall bladder, according to Yogi Bhajan's system, are cobra pose with crossed ankles, kicking the buttocks. That sensitive spot in the middle of the buttocks which you can push on and will cause you to jump is a gall bladder point - that is why rock pose is good for the digestion. However most people don't do it right. You have to actually sit on the heels, with the knees together. The other exercise for the gall bladder is to lie on the back and hold the legs straight with the feet three feet off the ground and do long deep breathing. Without the ability to move the pranas while doing an exercise little specific therapeutic result will be obtained however. Without the pranas it is just exercise. The biggest failure in teaching kundalini yoga, I think, is a lack of time spent becoming sensitive to the pranas - the energy. Kundalini is a type of energy after all.
