Guest guest
Sat Nam Phildas, While it is a worthy issue to raise "a stink" about what others wear (I still don't get how and why they can do it) and how this funks the place up, it may raise the level of your sensitivity and reactivity to give energy to the annoyance and you may miss out on some of the goodies. Two years ago I had a bout of sinus sensitivity that floored me for close to 3 months. I went into meditation about it because the world wasn't going along with my wants. Many things came from it. To begin with I had a great homeopathic session that opened up the issue for me on the emotional level. Another aspect of the situation was that maybe I was cranky and irritable like a child who was over tired and needed to get his sleep. I was trying to avoid some feeling, and that was creating the stuffiness and irritability. On a big level I was "waiting to exhale" some. A big part of breaking through this over-sensitivity was responding to the need to relate your emotions/hurts to another. We sometimes take life "on the nose" and we have relate our pains every now and then, to get clear. In the ayurvedic sense, the irritation brought about by this pungent/astringent scent perhaps brought for me somatic memories that were still needing resolution in relation to past events that were pungent/astringent and undoubtedly bitter Another thing to keep in mind is that the sinus' are the only part of our brain that makes contact with the outside world is in the Nose. It is also the only other place in our body that has erectile tissue (Huh, that should make ya think a little!). A lot of sensory stuff going on here. Are we having fun, yet?
