Guest guest
The kriya in question is called kauri kriya - one of the jewels of yoga. The first seven sounds are to bring the body into balance. The next four are to bring the mind into balance. The last eight sounds are to open the shushmna and awaken the spirit. Thus it is a kriya for balancing the entire system. Inherent in that is balancing the glands. It has to be chanted from a low tone to a high tone. Once you get the naad of that it is easy and beautiful and very good for your health as you can rest in the sound and leave everything else behind. If you were going to choose one mantra to practice for health, I think, that would be it. It is considered essential for healers to practice for instance, because they are dealing quite intimately with others peoples imbalances, as well as their own.
