Guest guest
Sat Nam! Any gentle twists are great for scoliosis, also teaching to lengthen the spine from the sacrum up, not bending the spine in any backbends/chest openers(such as dhanurasan, bhujangasan) will greatly help. Just approaching slowly and really listening to the spinal curve. Coming into trikonasana(on the opposite side of the curve to help lengthen) by first folding over the extended leg with both hands on the ground and then gradually turning skyward and letting the heart blossom as the arm raises into the sky is a wonderful feeling for those of us with scoliosis. I always get an adjustment of the spine when approached in this manner. Modifying with a block in Vajrasan will help lengthen the spine as the tail bone drops toward the earth.
