Guest guest
Hi Suzanne, A bit of clarification. Swara and swara yoga are two different things. Swara Yoga is breathing to change nostrils at will and to alter mental states. Swara or Swar are nothing more than the seven notes of the Indian musical scale. Sometimes called Sur. However, learning to chant these sounds "properly" can be a yogic learning experience. The body and mind, when relaxed and toned in proportion, makes a beautiful sound. See email earlier this week regarding course with Bhai Baldeep Singh FINDING YOUR TRUE VOICE A Singing Course in the Classical Sikh Style of Northern India About the Course: Taught in the oral tradition of Naad Yoga - the way in which the singing of gurbani was actually taught in the Gurus times.
