Guest guest
Hi Sija, I am also a mother of 3 young children and can completely relate to your situation. Like you, I only attempt to meditate when everyone else is asleep and I squeeze in exercises sporatically throughout the day. This is good and far better than doing nothing so keep up the good work but I do believe that the immediate & long-term results do not compare to finding the time to tune in, doing a full set of kriyas and then tune out. When life permits, I try to attend at least one KY class a week and the energy and peace of mind I leave with makes me a stronger, more patient, peaceful and loving mother. I know it may seem impossible but it is so important for you to make a little personal time (away from kids & family) to pamper your soul and center yourself. I find even getting out of the house and going for a walk ALONE on occasion is beneficial.....concentrating on a mantra, my breathing and nature. I also like to play and chant along to my 'yoga music' at home with the kids around and find it's uplifting yet calming for everyone. Many Blessings, I know how challenging it is!
