Guest guest
SAT NAM, Thought I will share a little of what I was going throug these days... For the past few weeks , I am releasing a lot .. just crying out while listening to any of the chants, music meditations. I am just stuck with so many questions as to why I am here? What I should achieve in this life time so that I dont come back again... etc etc. I am also attracting a lot of books , friends gifting with me great spiritual books, spiritual magazines etc. Reading some stuff on the life cycle of the soul was confusing and arosen a lot of questions in my mind. Can somebody please guide me to some information said/written by YB about what actually happens after death and based on what laws we we enter another body and how we can liberate ourselves? Also, while I am meditating/listening to music my tongue automatically rolls up to touch the palate and my tounge feels something flowing through the back of the toungue all the way down the spine, its like some eletrical impulse.. Can somebody help me understand whats going on with me? Thanks AKkama SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! http://sbc.
Guest guest
I don't have any answers, but I am going through a very similar period in my life. I'm glad you expressed this, because it makes me feel more connected to the group experience here. Guest guest
Dear Akkama, You were looking for some info on death and the cycle of rebirth? I can tell you what I know so far...I have yet to die and be conscious of it...so what I share comes from my understanding of the teachings that have been shared with me. Karma spins the wheel of life. When we have karmic debt to pay off...we have to reincarnate in order to pay it off. As long s there is karma...life continues. We can create karmic debts which lead us further away from our Soul's path...or we can create causes (karma's) which ensure movement towards our Soul's path. I would say there is a continum in the kind of karma one produces. The more unconscious/unawake the person is, the more non-Soul promoting causes that person would be putting into effect in the world. The greater the awareness/consciousness in a person the more True self and world serving the causes they would be putting into effect. So you still may be creating karma...but it might be putting things into effect that might help serve you to further yours and others evolution. Until finally all of your causes you put into effect simply serve humanity. Unattached to the outcome, because all your actions are in "selfless" service of all...you create no more karma and then can be liberated. I think at this point though...and I'm just talking off the top of my head here....that such liberated Soul's choose to incarnate again in order to work in service of liberating many others? I read something somewhere once where the jist of it was basically kind of an oath where there was an agreement to keep returning lifetime after lifetime until the last Soul standing had been liberated.....because when All is One...nobody is liberated, until all have been...really. The last thing on our mind (our last desire), when we die will propell us into our new incarnation. The last thing Ghandi uttered before he died was "Ram!" (God). The more unconscious you are at death the quicker the incarnation, into the same level of consciousness as you departed at, to begin again. If you have been working hard in this lifetime, developing consciousness, then you might go to the "healing room" and recieve some further healing before reincarnating. (Please don't ask me what the healing room is...I have yet to die and have conscious recollection of it! ha ha!) My teacher told me about it. ("Healing room" is my term, I don't remember what he called it). Speaking off the top of my head again....I believe when you die you take a walk through the subconscious mind....at that time you might think you are seeing old relatives who have passed etc, but it's just the goings on in your mind....if you mistake it for reality and you experience desire at that point...boom...reincarnation.. ....but if you walk through that veil, apparently there is supposed to be a snowy mountain road (don't quote me it might be described differently)...at any rate it's the path that looks like the opposite to being welcomed by family and friends...apparently this is the path to the healing room, as I have now affectionately begun to call it. At any rate...I think the message is... develope consciousness, see through illusion in your life and put causes into effect which serve humanity....and we'll make out just fine! ha Ha! May all of our causes be of the universal nature! Sat Sangeet Kaur Post your free ad now! Canada Personals
