Guest guest
Has anyone done this prosperity meditation, where you chant Har and hit the sides of the palms together? Here's the instructions for this meditation, which I found from www.100megsfree.com/yoga.Can someone clarify some points about this meditation? Here's how it goes: Har is based on the green expansive aspects of the creator. It is associated with green and growing. Manifest prosperity by bringing the green Har energy into it. Manifest it by bringing the Har energy into it. It is a simple meditation. Sit with the spine straight with your hands at the heart center. Hands resting at the heart center????? The Basic Meditation Fold the thumbs back and hit the sides of your hands together. Flip and hit the other side of the hand together. I find it kinda hard to do this while holding my hands at heart center. Can someone describe the exact posture for this meditation? Har is chanted each time the hands are flipped. About four times in five seconds To manifest a specific thing you can say: (Be careful what you ask for) Har Har Car Har Har Dress Har Har House. I should hit the sides of the palms everytime I say Har, but do I hit when I say the thing I want to manifest? Keep your eyes at the tip of the nose. If they move around bring them back. This meditation is for eleven minutes. Do not exceed the time frame. At the end of the meditation, inhale, exhale lift the hands over the head and shake them for a few seconds. Relax If someone has done this meditation, please share your experiences with others. Blessings Charles
Guest guest
Kundaliniyoga, "charlesdecapo" Hey Charles, we did this Porsperity Mudra with Gurunam. You are right: the movement is at the level of the heart center. But the movement should be quite comfortable for the wrists. When the sides with the Indexfingers meet, hands can be a little bit above heartcenter. Then youre hands flip and you go down a little bit almost like describing the shape of an apple or a little ball. When the sides with the pinkyfingers hit you are a little below heartcenter. It's not so difficult Hands do not need to be exactly at same level all the time. I suggest to just flip the hands naturally... > I should hit the sides of the palms everytime I say Har, but do I > hit when I say the thing I want to manifest? sorry, we did not practice this version - only chanted "Har" and had a mental focus - manifesting "long-word-wishes" would let you get out of rhythm anyway ;-) note the astrologic symbolism: You connect Jupiter and Mercury with this Mudra, so you connect the benificial influences of Jupiter with the mercantilistic and merchandising abilities of Mercury (in his aspect as god of trade). Sat Nam (and good luck ;-) ) Martin
Guest guest
Thanks for your answers Martin. I did this meditation today and it felt great, although I'm not sure did I do it right. What is the position of the arms and forearms? Are they close to the body? Wich direction fingers are pointing at? Can I visualize the thing I want to manifest, while doing this meditation? Guest guest
Hey Charles, Yeah! it's a cool meditation. Regarding the arms: do not bent the elbows, just bring the hands in front of the heart-center, forearms are not attached to the body, armposition is like when you bring a cup of tea to your mouth and stop at the heart, while the fingers are "horizontally" pointing away from your body. Just let it happen naturally. Visualisation and concentration on the object/subject will help, if you know what you need. But as this is not always what you REALLY need, it can also be a good idea to do it the other way round and create an open space and an emptiness to allow things to come to you. Universe is very intelligent and sometimes knows best what you need remember what Yogi Bhajan says: "KY is the art of becoming nothing, so that everything can come to you" Sat Nam Martin
