Guest guest
Sat Nam Ya'll, Thought it was about time to check in and let ya'll know how your prayers are working. As of today I've had 1 week with no dialysis. Hooray!!!!! There's still some screwyness with my labs, but things seem to be well on the mend. I'm at a point that I'm making some dietary adjustments to try and get the labs back to where they belong. This whole process these last 2 months has been - well - freakish. Talk about having to learn to take life as it comes at you. The biggest challenge is "staying in the moment". That's not so easy when "the moment" sucks. I'm also fairly limited physically due to some medical attachments and being the big ol double Pisces I am, I lead a rich and varied fantasy life. Again making that whole "in the moment" thing kind of dicey. I often dump on myself for not doing more with the resources I have. I could be doing art, writing, researching but instead I seem to spend alot of time just staring off into space, or worse, watching bad movies on tv. Oh well! It's all part of the process isn't it? - trying to replace judgment with curiosity Sat Nam, Leo
Guest guest
Leo, My fellow double-pisces, I never had a doubt that you could pull through on this. You have too much of a loving, receptive, relaxed life "force" energy for your Kidneys to be the issue. Do that watermelon diet, your kidneys need the soothing....... plus it IS summer! You can sprinkle pepper on it, also which is good for any water retension issue. Yogiji did a fair bit of pepper for the water retension. Your kidneys will probably handle the byproducts of protein metabolism handle, afterward. Sat Nam, Dharam Singh P.S. Guest guest
Leo, Sipping lots of water ( or as Dharam suggested, eating watermelon consistently ) can help a lot in cleansing the kidneys and keeping the body hydrated, but is it a problem for you to pee often in your current condition (water/watermelon are both diuretics)? The other alterntative to get rid of toxins is to sweat, but this would involve some hyper-activity, which might be a problem too in your current state. Try to do the deep breathing exercises, by feeling what happens to different parts of the body when you breathe fully in and out. And, try to do the savasana-exercises I mailed earlier, and try to figure out which parts of the body feel tense/stiff/weak/strong/light. Let me know on your assessment, and probably we can figure out simple but effective ways to improve your condition. Gai SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! http://sbc.
