Guest guest
SAT NAM Sat Sangeet, Thank you for your response. Well, I have come across many great people sayings "dont worry about all the rest, just chant the name of God, take the name of God and it will cleanse you from core and lead you to God". Somewhere in the corner of my mind I have these questions as to "Why and How I came here" "What did I do wrong to begin with" "How will I know how much karma I have and how I can stop creating more..." As you mentioned that all causes should be towards serving humanity. I would like to better understand that. I am software engineer and I am not sure if the work that I do can be listed under "Serving Humanity". What actions can I include as serving humanity within my family limits. Can I just surrender to God and offer every work that I do to him and say "This is all from you and goes to you" and get liberated from its fruits? Thanks for any insight on this. Guest guest
Dear Akkama...I realize the words "serving humanity" is a rather big umbrella! Ha ha!.....I think you just ask yourself, does my job serve my Soul? Does it move me to grow on some level? Can I get 100% behind the job I do? I think if the answers are yes...then you are serving humanity...because when you serve the needs of your Soul, you automatically serve the needs of all...we're all connected/no separation. If your work is a worship and you offer the fruits of your labour to God (not be attached to the outcome, but execute your job with excellence and integrity)...ya, I think that takes care of it! Sometimes the ways in which we serve are very subtle and you may not realize the role you fill in someone's life etc.....Don't worry so much, be relaxed and allow things to flow and anything that is wrong will right itself naturally if you can respond to the flow. Acting with love in your heart, is serving all. Let your actions be born of your excellence rather than your limitations and the path will clear. When you can learn to witness the mind and release the subconscious, you begin to see the patterns of thought that drive each of your actions into reality....you also begin to notice that all your thoughts/actions have been conditioned from past experiences. This is the beginning of recognizing "cause and effect" in your life....when you can see the thread of events that lead you to particular actions...then you automatically begin developing the ability to put more conscious actions into effect. The fear around "oh my god! what am I creating and putting out there??" Begins to ease.....and why am I here? and what have I done to deserve this? relaxes as you realize....nothing in life is a punishment...only an affect from a cause previously put into motion. With that knowledge I become empowered to change the kind of causes I iniate and thus change my experience in the world. To be liberated you have to develope consciousness...at the first level you get your light lit up abit and experience the subtle body waking up a bit...at the second level you begin to understand what I have been talking about "cause and effect"...it comes through the developement of the witnessing/neutral mind...understanding how the mind works and then witnessing, experiencing for yourself how the mind works...and then it goes on from there to other levels... I have to run....but we can talk more later if you like, Sat Sangeet Post your free ad now! Canada Personals
