Chant Pronunciation question

I came across the "Green Energy" or prosperity mediation a while back that

went like this:

Hare Hare Hare Hare Hare Hare Har.

The 'Har' was pronounced as written in the audio file attached.

However, I picked "Healing Mudras" by Sabrina Mesko and she said that 'Har'

should be pronounced 'hah-rah'. I used the prosperity meditation on

www.dasvandh.org while chanting "Hah-rah", rolling the r's made me

tongue-tied after 7 minutes of chant.

Which pronunciation is correct?

Peace,

Nelly

Sat Naam!

When you pronunciate the "r" at the end of Har, it is not a hard "r" like in

"car" -- it is like a soft palatal roll like you are going to roll it but

you don't, so there is a subtle natural "ah" sound following. Sometimes it

is less subtle than others, practice chanting it on your own and see what

comes most naturally to you. Then share your experiece with us.

PS ~ I LOVE CHANTING HAR !!!!

Thanks Ranjit for the clarification. Rolling the r drastically changed the

pronunciation. Who knows what I'd attract instead of prosperity with that

one.

Peace,

Nelly
