Theresa, do you have "Transitions .................." by Gururattan?

Check out the meditation on p. 132 "Projection and Protection from the

Heart"

The commentary reads

"COMMENTS: This meditation gives you an enchanting, magnetic

personality, with many unexpected friends. Watch out! The MANGALA CHARAN

MANTRA sur-rounds the magnetic field with protective light. It means, "I

bow to the Primal Wisdom. I bow to wisdom through the ages. I bow to the

True Wisdom I bow to the great, unseen Wisdom."

The arm movement is so deeply elemental, it's reaching/extending our

arms at the 60 degree angle merging with our aura at the point where we

have the most creative potential. It's extending the SELF from our

hearts and in so doing, expressing our intentions and desires rather

than simply wishing. When the desire is expressed fully and refined

(ninth body), we become desire, and that's a pretty wild place to be.

Check it out after you have done your yoga.

Sat Nam,

Dharam

Dear Dharam,

Thanks for your messages and guidance. You've asked for my date of birth in

your previous message -- it's 18.1.1956.

You have suggested that I should work on the lower 3 chakras. I have been

doing the naval exercises in the morning followed by the 'Sat Nam' kriya and

the 'Sa Ta Na Ma' meditation. These are followed by the spinal flexes in the

evening. Is that a good combination?

I do not have the book "Transitions .." by Gururattan, but shall be getting

one soon. I have been following the exercises from the 25 lessons by

Gururattan on www.yogatech.com.

I would also like to add that the article on 'Shabd Guru' was an excellent

and profound piece. Which book would you recommend for the 'Shabd Guru'.

Would the 'Transitions' book do.

Sat Nam & many blessings

Theresa
