Guest guest
There are aspects of our personality that most of us sublimate for reasons of social convenience. The impulse/urge to take up space, to be great, outspoken, saintly, etc. (can you imagine a party, or a church, where everyone was a Martin Luther King or a Thich Nhat Hanh!) is something in all of us but it is rarely expressed directly or related to intimately and tangibly. This is simply not encouraged in our culture. So these impulses go round an' round and find other ways to express themselves. Sometimes anti-social or non-commital (not willing to settle down) and certainly not capable of the fuzzy intimate. What I've noticed about Archer Pose, particularly, is that it gives me a chance to express that "largeness" on my own terms, within a set set time and space, that gives time to this aspect of my psyche straight on and allows me to integrate it into my walking day reality rather than letting it go subversive only to upset my whole reality down to road. This blending of integration and expression is at least a weekend workshop in itself. If I can express the largeness, maybe I can then relax and feel the smallness (all-ness). Hmmmmmm[stroking my chin]. There is a polarity. Sat Nam, Dharam
