Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone, I've been busy and so haven't had much time to spare to post. 2.5-3.5 hours of sadhana takes up a chunk. But its paying off. This is day 365 of Divine Mother meditation for me. Its been a wide open experience, I've had much insight into 'self'. While the changes have been subtle, not 'magical' or 'mystical', they been pretty major for me. This is what I've found: 1) New for me, I could never figure out how to transmute energy from my head consistently and totally, I just hit on it about a week ago. Spinal flexes, 108. --DM meditation leaves me with alot of energy in the head, and I've struggled with the spaciness, and drowsiness during the day. Not anymore! 2) I've learned how to work with the shoulder pain (left) and why you don't fight it, you allow it. --reading the small book 'The Path of Insight Meditation' by Goldstein and Kornfield, helped me put the pieces together. As long as you keep the pain seperate you stay in your head. When you accept it the barrier to the heart crumbles, a unity comes. 3) I've really learned to detach and watch my behavior. And usually when I get an errant rise of anger it just doesn't feel right, almost as if someone else has allowed it. I begin 'watching' it and that allows me to see where it comes from, then let it go. 5) Learning much about the Naad, the universal sound current, its always there. I developed a ringing in my head about 2 months ago, especially noticeable when I twist my head to the left. I could sit in silence for an hour probably, after the meditation is over and just get lost in the 'current'. I usually do 5 minutes. 4) And finally I understand why the Buddhists say that at some point in your 'sitting', or meditation, the meditation continues even during the waking day. Watching thoughts, feelings, emotions, letting them go by, etc.. How does my heart center feel after 365 days? I don't know how it would feel otherwise. I'll update again at some point.
