Guest guest Posted August 1, 2003 Report Share Posted August 1, 2003 dear gurubir k.! what is your arrival airport? how much time do you have? in wintertime before x-mas and until end of january, the south is nice! start from delhi.the trainride to bombay is great.(24 houers)take first class! possible a stop in rajastan!(people living in tents,riding on camels!(1001 and one night flair!)GREAT!!! from bombay.comfortable boot to goa,with possible stop in poona!(oshos ashram....couple days?). arrival town in goa is panjim.from there it takes you 2 houers by taxi(4oo rupees)to palolem. palolem has nice clean palm beaches.not much people.and even a couple bamboo houses for yogi(scene) to rent....easy to find. from there small trip to hampi(2-3 days)is cool. from goa the trip to madras is nice.tru kerala (dschungle by boot and bus). from madras you could go up to varanasi(a lots of yogis living on streets) before back to delhi!.....agra taj mahal is breath taking!from delhi it takes you about 17 houers by bus to reach manali or kulu, mauntain villages at himachalpradesh.clean water and air.trekking with view on himalaya.2 moore things:i spend a couple years traveling in india,i always gave my value things(passport,ticket,money)to the landlord or the person i stayed .even when it was a old lady sleeping on a cowshit floor with my things under her head!......it never failed!!!it takes a lot of pressure walking arrond withoue carring those things. one challange:its easy to stuck on some places.i often met people with big plannings and they spend the whole time at one place.:-). much love and fun. sat mander s. ________________ Gesendet von Mail - http://mail..de Logos und Klingeltöne fürs Handy bei http://sms..de Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
