Guest guest Posted August 3, 2003 Report Share Posted August 3, 2003 Beet juice is for the liver, but the best overall strengthener of the blood, glands and organs, as well as cleanser for all body's tubes (lymph's, blood vessels, intestines, lungs, nerves, etc) is carrot juice. Drink on an empty stomach freshly juiced or pressed, building up from a pint 2 x a day to a quart 2 x a day. You'll have the very best bowel movements in no time. The nutrition in carrot juice will also completely vitalize and charge the glandular system, while purifying all the systems - very complimentary to any practice of Kundalini Yoga, especially as taught by Yogi Bhajan. The juice to the body is like chemicals to a battery, that enhance the ability to carry and sustain a charge. Later you might try a series of colonics. Dr. N.W. Walker, born 1864, passed on 1985 in Phoenix Arizona. (Many people living at the 3ho Phoenix Ashram in the 70's knew Dr. Walker - including myself)Lived a full and vibrantly healthy life right up to the last day. The physician of Yogananda, he also wrote a book on the mechanism of the Kundalini (1945, now long out of print), a book that explained the Kundalini mechanism and a means to increase the voltage in the body in a balanced way through a diet of fresh raw vegetable juices and salads. Most of his books on juices and salads were written to achieving of vibrant health (these books from 1934 to 1985 still in print, and his Norwalk juice press is still being manufactured).
