Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone...good morning! "I am in training to be nobody special. Saying the words in my mind, I felt how they redirected me from a certain seductive struggle and excitement and disease, into a more stable focus: forget what others think of you, forget the future goal of achievement; arrive instead in this body/mind, attending to this present moment. This is the whole of practice." Today is my birthday...and I found myself strongly focused on...how am I going to fully live my destiny, as I meditated this morning!! It is also a fullmoon today....so I got to thinking about all the Tantric healing circles that might be held around the world today and found myself wishing that I could recieve a special blessing...from each one of them, so that I might win my destiny...developing the calibre of character needed for such an endeavor. Then I read this little clip above, that Dharam posted, and began to laugh, at my crazy, Mars driven (I was born on a Tuesday), Leo ways! Ha ha ha! And then I remembered...where you are now in this moment is exactly where you need to be. Presnet in this moment!! ha ha! Destiny is won no other way, but in the present. Drop the struggle and enjoy the ride! At the Japji course I attended in June, in Espanaola, one of the presenters shared a story with us about an experience she had had of being angry and flipping out all over her place of work...and Yogi Bhajan called her,AT HOME, and said.."you can't do that". She goes..."when you get a call from YB...YOU LISTEN!" He went on to tell her...when you "react", all of the attention and energy gets focused on you and your struggle...rather than moving it towards the direction of the solution. Moment by moment and breath by breath... we manifest a new future for ourselves as we keep our eye present to the moment at hand and respond to the moment at hand, with our meditatve minds. Through this process we manifest our new reality...one that includes living our destiny!! So upon reflection, I've decided I will accept the gifts of this moment, rather than hoping for a gift for the future and in that way I am confident, that the future will unfold, in Divine harmony. May we all be in service of the ONE, Sat Sangeet Kaur PS If anyone e-mails me over the next week...I'm not around!
