Guest guest
Hi Kimberley, i tried this one for some days and - although i stopped after some days due to laziness - i felt a good clearing effect on the arcline: music: Try track 1 of Gurunams "Soul Trance" CD, if you have. If not, you can do without the music, too... Mantra: Take a deep breath and chant "Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Wahe Jio" 8 times with one breath (takes about 3 second for one repitition of the whole Mantra) The (slight navel) beat is on every "Wa". Breath in through the nose with the same rhythm and tempo without singing the mantra (but with 1 mental repitition of the whole mantra), so that one total cycle takes about 9x3 seconds. Then start again. Position: Easy Pose, Back of the hands down to earth, lower arms in front of you, upper arms down at the sides of the body. (elbows are bent 90 degrees) Movement: With every "Wahe" you bring up the arms behind the head, keep your elbows bent at 90 degrees The arms should gently move along the sides of the head to a position above and behind the ears. elbows are at about eye-level then. Its a little bit like shuffling water or fresh air behind your head... Time: Begin with 11 Minutes and work up to 31 This is quite cool, given that you'll also have a steady breeze around your head....
