Hi everone,

I was wondering if anyone could help to clarify how to do the 4/4 energising

breath. i have the info on it. It says to break the inhale breath up into 4

parts as well as the exhale. what i want to know is do you pull the belly

button up into the spine on each part of the in and out breath without

letting your tummy go back to original position, or do you pull it in , then

let it go on each part of the inhale and exhale. any answers would be very

much appreciated . Many thanks

love and light to all

Well...this is how I've always practiced it....

start with your abdomin relaxed and as you inhale 4 equal sniffs allow the navel

to "jump" with the breath...if I feel my abdomin as I do this my navel is

expanding on the sniff in, and then relaxes a touch before my next sniff in...so

it appears to be jumping. On the exhale...I pull my navel towards the spine

alittle further in each sniff out.

In total my navel doesn't cover a huge distance...but just does some "jumping"

lets say. I'm trying to say I don't over exagerate the pulling in of my navel?

I visualize the filling of a balloon in 4 equal spurts on the inhale...and then

the deflation of it in four equal parts on the exhale?

I hope that is helpful!!
