Dear Sleepless,

I saw the posts that mention Wellbutrin and have had experience with it. I

developed a severe speech problem at the onset of taking the med. and my doctor

refused to believe that it might be the Wellbutrin. My jaw and mouth would

suddenly refuse to move, like it was locked or something and all I could get out

was a-a-a-a-a-a-a, which I couldn't stop doing. It was quite embarassing.

After 5 months, I took myself off and the problem disappeared. I found that

being very diligent about my early morning Sadhana during that time helped me to

overcome the depression and other problems that I was having. Everyone is

right, do Sat Kryia or something similar and you will get amazing results and

sleep better and need less sleep. Try to do this yourself, and remember to give

it some time. All good things are worth waiting for.

I'm back on track again!!!

Sat Nam,

Swami Mommie

I developed a severe speech problem at the onset of taking the med. and my

doctor refused to believe that it might be the Wellbutrin. My jaw and mouth

would suddenly refuse to move, like it was locked or something and all I

I looked at the medical literature concerning Wellbutrin and first you

shouldn't take yourself off a medicine without your doctors help. You're in

control. If he doesn't want to take you off a medicine talk to the medical

licenseing board.

Without knowing what dosage you were taking, why you were taking the

medicine and your immediate experience with taking it all I can guess is you

may have had an allergic reaction to the bupropione. There's no over-dosage

problem like that mentioned in the medical literature. Sounds like your Doc

may have been a jerk. At least the yoga helped.
