Guest guest
"Odd numbers are not divisible"....Dharam Singh Dharam, I do not understand what I am supposed to deduce from this statement? I understand that odd numbers are not divisible..but I don't see the connection as to why we would choose them for that reason, when meditating....can you expand? Guest guest
Most of the numbers used in kundalini yoga are the result of rounding the numbers upward. 11 minutes is actually ten minutes and some seconds, 31 minutes is actually 30 minutes and some seconds, 3 minutes is not exactly 3 minutes. 2 1/2 hours is actually 2.4 hours, or one tenth of the day. Five minutes is said to correspond to one complete circulation of the blood. 26 relates to bones and vertebraes and all that and the idea that the pranas will be cicrulated to all those bones in quantums of 26; 108 relates to the elements and the same idea. There has been a mythology grow up around the numbers but it is not as exact as many people believe - and it is more exact than people realise. I'm new to kundalini yoga as I've said but not numerology. The numerology I'm familiar with is for example the number 36. It hold the meaning of 3 and 6. It can also be reduced to 3+6=9. I don't know if this is the same thing or not. Can someone clarify this numerology for me if they would. Bill
