Guest guest
Sat Nam RN Gupta, Well????...I hadn't thought anymore about it until you asked me...and even then no answer came to me, but I thought if you were asking me, I should reply with a response...so I asked to be able to intuitively answer your question today as I meditated and this is the answer that came to me, shortly afterwards.... What I understand is that there are not "only" indivisible numbers used as times in KY...as Seva Simran and Ranjit both pointed out....and I think they both gave great information on why we do things for a certain amount of time etc. As for what significance does an indivisible number have in regards to a spiritual practice? The thought that comes to me is that in this life we experience polarity. Positive and negative, yin and yang, man and woman, sun and moon...light and dark. On a spiritual path, if we are not aware of the polarity present in life, then we are forever surprised by it, when it arises. It is through this polarity or contrast that we understand our experiences. Without the contrast of the dark, for instance, we would have no context inwhich to recognize (understand the experience of) the light. Spiritually speaking, if we understand that part of life is experiencing the polarities (ups and downs) then we gain greater understanding of our experiences and learn to ride the wave more effectively, As the ups and downs occur. Because I see polarity everywhere when I look around...I would imagine that the same would have to be true in numbers. We have even and odd numbers, in order to have polarity....because we couldn't just have odd numbers on their own, we would need the even numbers to create the balance? It's the constant motion between the two polarities which is the process we call learning? Using one to recognize the other. If it is possible to understand that infinity exists through the use of numbers, as someone suggested, then we would need both the even and odd numbers present in that system...because outside of numbers it is the merger of yin and yang, man and woman etc...that brings about the experience of infinity...so those two polarities would have to be part of the system of numbers as well, I would imagine? I'm no where near, being a mathematician though....these are just the thoughts that came to me, when I asked the question?? So I shared them. As for the meaning of RE? I don't know! Maybe someone "out there" has an answer? All Light, Sat Sangeet Kaur Post your free ad now! Canada Personals
Guest guest
Satnam! Will anyone extent comment on the following: In this Phisical world, normally when a son commit blunder/gross mistake father pardons him if he sincerely apologize for the same and merely undertake not to commit/repeat such blunger/ mistakes in future. On this analogy, when a soul, under influence of Ego, accumulates adverse immages, impressions and tendencies resulting in reincarnation time & again and ultimately in one birth if, one sincerely & honestly pray to get rid of this worldly phenomenon of Birth & death, why, the God almighty, who is all merciful, kind, compassionate, omniscient & omnipotent, donot pardon such soul and why one has to undergo different sadhanas, first, to destroy & annihilate all past impressions and old tendencies completly & fully under all trial & error before being qualified for seeking merger of seperated soul with the supreme/ universal soul which is also at the mercy of God almighty or else he may be allured to other different celetials pleasures. Guest guest
Dear Ram Narayan, Satnam! I share from my personal experience rather than from a purist KY life practice which I am working to attain with love and reverence. It is through the life cycles that we purify ourselves - through the life experiences - of negative tendencies, errors, also called "karmic conditions" which of course includes especially the harming of others. While "to err is human, to forgive divine" is always so, it is a must to realize that what I may see in you that I do not like; the notion that you are separate or "different" from me is merely the illusion of the 5 senses playing itself out in the physical realm. Spiritual reality is that we are all one, bits/beams of light energy, seemingly individual/separate, but truly a collective that shines brightly back unto itself at various intensities. When I detect something in someone that I perceive as objectionable, I ask myself what is the lesson for me here, why have I brought this into my reality, what is the lesson for me. If what we perceive in others, is truly something that is in ourselves but we are fearful of realizing so or admitting it, then understanding the condition, healing the condition if willing/ready/open to the work is the path to your own enlightement. Desisting from projecting the scene that plays out as "their problem"; truly it is all "our problem to solve". The ultimate healing power is love, and yes, I know, it is easy to say, not so easy to do in all instances. But we do one today, and one tomorrow and so on ... JUST FOR TODAY ... as we say. Deeply meditating ... connecting to the infinite .... slowing the breath so that our minds can follow ... and stop projecting if only for 5 minutes a day will bring back a quiet peace to you, a knowing that you will be led to the right place ... trust the process and stay in love of the Creator. Know that Infinite Creative Consciousness is within and without (in all of us) and that we are beloved by the Creator source. It is we who judge, it is us who punish each other, not God. Love and Light, Lourdes
