Guest guest
Sat Nam Kundalini People! Thanks to Dharam Singh, Mahan Kirn just sent me the mantra Re Man Eh... plus some very valuable comments of Yogi Bhajan on it..for anyone who is interested.. Love and Light Sat Atma Ray Man Ih Bidh Jog Kamaa-o Ray man Ih bidh jog kamaa-o Oh my mind, practice Yoga in this way: Singee saach akapat kanthalaa Let Truth be your horn, sincerity your necklace, Dhi-aan Bibhoot charaa-o meditation the ashes you apply on your body. Taatee geho aatam bas kar kee Make self-restraint your harp, and the Naam, Bhicchhaa naam adhaarang the Name of the Lord, your support. Baajay param taar tat har ko Vibrate the strings of the Sound-Current, Upajai raag rasaarang and listen to the sweet songs of the Lord. Ughatai taan tarang rang at The waves of sweet sound bring ecstasy, Gi-aan geet bandhaanang and through the Songs of the Lord, spiritual wisdom arises. Chak chak rehay dayv daanav mun The demons and the demi-gods in their chariots are amazed, Chhak chhak bayom bivaanang and the silent sages are intoxicated with delight. Aatam upadays bhays sanjam ko So instruct your soul, wear the loin-cloth of self restraint, Jaap so ajapaa jaapai and chant the Name of the Lord, even when you are silent. Sadaa rehai kanchan see kaayaa In this way, your body shall remain forever golden, Kaal na kabahoo bayaapai and death shall never even approach you. What Yogi Bhajan says about this Shabad: "Guru Gobind Singh's entire bani is meant to penetrate through the mental body, right into your own spirit. The secret of this bani; it is a pure Naad Yoga. It is in Brij Baashaa language. The combination and permutation of sound is totally practical in his bani. The tongue creates a certain pressure on the upper palate. This shabad has the capacity, if man is bewitched by incurable disease, if sung properly through the tongue and mouth, can bring total health. Each sound must be said exactly correctly. It can lead to perfect state of mental health and surrounding spirit." Perfection of this shabad can make you like a Golden Buddha. You will have wisdom, you will have purity of a yogi, and you will have an essence. I request everyone who believes in higher values to remember this shabad in perfect sound. It is very perfect combination. As a shabad you can sing 11 times a day, you will feel the miraculous effect of it on your body, mind, and soul. Ram Nam Kaur
Thank you to all concerned for the translation of Re Man Eh. Yogi Bhajan's comments are very helpful, as well. Is there a specific meditation that uses this mantra? Is there a mudra or any particular posture or pranayam that is used in this meditation? Thank you in advance for any guidance.
