Guest guest
How long has this been an issue for you? How deep in your tissue has this gone or are these just very nagging thoughts of recent? Tell us a little more. I know a person who has been resentful and bitter for 24 years...that's why I ask. Guest guest
---Dharam, In answer to your question...it is both recent and deep seated. In a nutshell it has mostly to do with the people in my life whom I love dying. Thirteen years ago my fiance was killed. Six months ago my daughter was murdered. I am feeling like I have been targeted to suffer through this pain and I know that I have the choice to grow/learn from it, or turn into a very bitter and resentful person. I feel the resentment surfacing, I get mad at people for no reason, I yell at my dogs, I know that a lot of it is unexpressed anger. But as much as I hate to admit it I find myself resenting psople who are happy and that is a terrible way to feel. Anything you might recommend would be helpful. I am currently doing a (almost) daily practice of two meditations that Guru Dev Singh gave me for grief and keeping my brain from going back into shock, along with the spinal series. I listen to Yoga of Sound Healing Yourself CD every night at bedtime. Thank you. Karin In Kundaliniyoga, Dharam Singh <pran--yogi@s...> wrote: > How long has this been an issue for you? Guest guest
Sat Nam Karin, Thank you for the clarification. You have been rocked very deeply by your losses, as anyone would be. Whatever sense of stability you may have, is often taken away by such events in ones life. At such times when the path of truth, compassion and clarity seem lost, calm yourself and still your mind. To live life according to the guidance of your inner voice, truth, is essential. If your do not, you will have doubts. If doubts are not removed, then frustration comes in. Frustration, when not released, leads to anger. Anger then leads to destructive action either to the self, others, or both. There are many things you can do to avoid this mess by strengthening the inner voice. Guru Dev Singh is an extraordinary teacher and seer. Trust what he has given and go into your experience. To that I would add that you do something to firmly establish in balance your base in the "lower" chakras. The "Kriya for Lower Triangle" is what comes to mind but there are many in Gururattan's "Spirituality and Sexuality" book. "Jaapsahib" has also shared with you her experience of Sat Kriya. This also very good for the lower triangle, but I wouldn't stop there. Do the entire "Aquarian Meditation" - Sat Kriya, Kirtan Kriya and Sodarshan Chakra Kriya . It finishes with resonating Wahe Guru, a meditation of Bliss and Gratitude. If one can't look back at even the most traumatic life experience with Gratitude for the fruits that that experience can give birth to, then there will always be need for "processing". Go into your practice and don't be derailed by Any Thing. Allow you feelings as that is part of the work and the dance would not be complete without it. This issue of Stability, along with the Grief, is core. "Watch out for your worst enemy. Whoever steals your stability is your worst enemy. It's not evil -- it makes you strong. They are all who lay emotional tantrums. They say, "You are no friend if you are not miserable when I am, We must work together against our own sickness."" "The Aquarian Meditation" First, make sure to Tune In properly (kundalini yogakyt03.html} Do the "Aquarian Meditation". Work slowly up to 11 minutes for each part. Do 11 minutes of Sat Kriya (http://www.susankezios.com/Kriyas/Sat%20Kriya.htm), 11 minutes of Kirtan Kriya (all aloud with navel point pumping with each syllable - kundalini yogakyt15.html) and then 11 minutes of Sodarshan Chakra Kriya (http://www.sahej.com/Sodarshan.html) Do "One minute Breath" for 11 minutes, afterward. Begin where you can and work up to 11 minutes for each part. After you feel comfortable with 11 minutes, you can slowly work up to 31 minutes for each kriya. Lay your layout at then end. Take a few moments to collect yourself in between each Kriya. One other meditation is The "Meditation to Make An Angry Idiot Calm and Gentle" A. Sit in easy pose with the palms/heel of the hands exerting a slight pressure slightly above he temples. The fingers are held like moose antlers. The elbows are pulled down in front of the body. Eyes focused to the top of the head. Mentally chant SAT and make fists. Then, open the fists and spread the fingers, mentally chanting NAAM. Each SAT NAAM cycle should take 3 or 4 seconds. Continue for 22 or 31 minutes. Then do one minute of stretching. B. Then do Kirtan Kriya (http://www.susankezios.com/Kriyas/Sat%20Kriya.htm) The above all good ideas. If you want to do one routine in the morning and another in the evening that would be fine. Don't try and do everything. My rule of thumb at times is to play with sets/meditations that I do apart from the Traditional Aquarian Sadhana given by Yogiji for the Amrit Vela. BTW, whatever routine you do will have, by far, by leaps and bounds, greater effect in the Amrit Vela. Guest guest
Satnam Siri Dharam SinghJi! I M from Bombay India & learned unique Kundalini yoga technique as taught by Yogi BhajanJi. Really it is marvellous technique. Moreover the availability of its on web site with full facts & figures is very remakable & appreciated. Further the creation of for free & frank discussion for members/ participants of Kriya yoga with valuable guidance from highly elevated yogis to any member is an unprecedented opportuniy & highly appreciable venture. However It appear that network of this unique yoga is extended in western countries & there is lacking of its proper coverage in India, as I find no follower of this yoga in Bombay INdia, one of the top Metropolitan city, having a population of 11 millions peoples. Since the Originator/ precepter of this Yoga & majority of the top Yogis, who are at the helm of affairs of this Unique yoga, are from India, I think the Indian peoples, at large, should not be deprieved of this unique opportunity for their salvation. I have just expressed my ideas/ views, Kindly do not take it otherwise & if possible some concrete steps be initited for its wider network in India also. With warm regards, Humbly yours RN Gupta

Guest guest
Well Sat Nam Rio and Bombay. Perhaps you should look into figuring out a way to sponsor someone to travel to your respective locations and teach, perhaps set up a teacher training in kundalini yoga. There are quite a number of us who would be overjoyed by such a possibility, and are probably available with a little planning.
