Help me wake up in the morning!

Sat Naam everybody,

I have a real problem, I can't wake up in the morning, not even at 7 am in the

morning. Lately, I hear the alarm, snooze it and go back to sleep. I just can't

wake up. Then I spend the whole day in guilt which is not doing any good to me.

Could somebody please please help me to wake up in the morning please?

One aspect to look at is your food, especially what you have for you evening

meal.

 

Do you eat late at night? The body can rest and repair better, sleep is

deeper, if you eat your evening meal at least 2 1/2 hours before going to

bet, that way your digestion is finished.

 

What kind of meals do you have in the evening. You may like try avoiding

cheese particularly... many people experience difficulty waking up & feeling

sluggish in the morning, if they have a lot of dairy for their evening meal.

 

Sleep is also more restfull, if you can have a little meditation 'pit stop',

as my teacher used to call it, before sleeping. Spending just a few minutes

to let go of the day, come back to the breath and become restful in mind and

body.

Thanks for the suggestion,

I will start meditating before going to bed because that was the only thing I am

missing. I am vegetarian and I don't eat late or consume dairy before going to

bed. I have my meals around 6 and go to bed around 11pm.
