Guest guest
SAT NAM, I am on my way reading the "ANATOMY OF MIRACCLES" suggested by Sat Sangeet. Its opening up spaces... while reading the excercises, I very easily tend to feel the sensitive space and allow the hard holding unpleasant sensations in me and can see a difference how they ease out if observed with neutral mind. But what is happening is that I tend to do it a lot of times almost always since I see so many unfortable sensations, tightness , shiverings holding/held in the body. I felt a strong thick band like belt(hard as rock) held in the neck region and that is very bothering. For me it appears that the healing process has begun. My only concern at this point is that should I lean towards being aware all the time at work/home..? This sometimes get me caught in itself and I am just absorbed in myself. Any suggestions? Guest guest
Sat Nam Ji, If you are relating to your sensitive space in a neutral way...then you wouldn't be concerned that you might be too self focused....in my opinion. Practicing SNR developes the heart center...when one is heart centered, there focus becomes all, rather than me....but you recognize your place in the all. So anything you do for you in that space, is of benefit to all. The first thing I would point out is that everytime you do something for yourself that helps you to heal... you are essentially doing something for the "all". We are interconnected. When one person makes a change it creates a momentum in our collective consciousness for others to follow... So I would suggest that when you begin to have a thought like I shouldn't be paying so much attention to myself...you simply begin to allow that as a resistance in your sensitive space, until it shifts in some way. On the other hand, you have to learn to be neutral to sensations, emotions and thoughts. So it sounds to me like you are experiencing "thinking" resistance....and you need to allow it in the same way you would allow a physical sensation. You would notice it and then go back to feeling your space in totality...in this way it will transform. I think if you were getting caught up in what you were feeling or thinking...that, that might bring about a feeling of being self involved....remember that the better you get at allowing the obvious...the more subtle the resistances become. So for me, an emotion or thought would be more subtle for me to notice then a physical sensation. So the goal is always to go back to allowing without reacting, in order to allow the process to move forward. And ideally, yes, we should work towards being aware/awake in every moment of our lives. That is life. Developing consciousness. I think that is great that you have gotten the book and have begun working through it. Fantastic...good for you. I can't say enough about how SNR has helped me to heal and develope. Continued luck Akkama, Sat Sangeet Post your free ad now! Guest guest
: SNR stands for Sat Nam Rasayan a healing modality taught by Yogi Bhajan. Gurudev Singh is now the master and was given the task to teach it. It literally means: resting (or relaxing) into the truth. To me it is a technique that we should all learn even before we learn to speak! It's about accepting what we feel without judgments. It's about tuning in to others and experiencing the relationship we feel in our own sensation space completely without judgments. And it's about making peace with what we feel. Guest guest
Dear Awtar Singh, resting (or relaxing) into the truth. * This is our ultimate goal. > To me it is a technique that we should all learn even before we learn to > speak! * How about Accepting what we feel without judgments. Tuning in to others and experiencing the relationship we feel in our own sensation space completely without judgments. And making peace with what we feel and what IS. *Before we speak!! * That would change our lives around. If we watch ourselves, much of what we say expresses some kind of dissatisfaction, judgment or anxiety. * The next phase towards our enlighenment would be to actually tune into what we feel and make peace with our feelings and what IS before we think!
