Sat Nam Simon,

In Kundalini Yoga we don't do headstand, because we don't believe it's

good

to put pressure on the Crown Chakra. We are big believers in shoulder stand,

provided that it won't exacerbate any pre-existing conditions.

Do you know anything about doing shoulder stand with the shoulders on the

edge of a rolled mat and the neck over the side to protect the curve in the

neck?

Thanks

Could someone please advise;

As a newcomer to Kundalini yoga, I have felt the great benefits of the headstand

through hatha yoga practice. Is this posture used in kundalini yoga ?

Also, if it is used, could it be done with the breath of fire, or would this be

too strenuous or dangerous.

Kindest regards

simon
