Guest guest
Sat Nam... I just have a few comments on the flavour of what has been talked about in the last few days. When we commit to the light...what we are doing is calling off any contract we had with darker consciousness'...as SSS expressed. Once we make the commitment...then the work begins...because we have to begin to live our talk...and it isn't easy to do. It takes constant awareness of emotions and thoughts...AND constantly choosing to come from a higher place. Because as many have expressed it is the darkness within us that we are unable to be conscious of that attracts these darker forces and then they manipulate us. Even if we have these dark emotions within us...as long as we are conscious of them and working with them...this IS being committed to the light. So we just have to keep coming back to the Light. Our challenges in life don't disappear usually overnight, once we make a decision like this...there is a learning curve. When we are in the learning phase, we constantly fall down and get up again...then one day we notice we catch ourselves before we fall and we don't actually fall down...and in this way we become more masterful at the phase of consciousness we are currently working at embodying or living. While you are in the learning phases...you are constantly bombarded with situations and experiences that help you to learn. So don't be discouraged when you see yourself not fully embodying that which you would like to embody...it's the learning process. So if you are working at the level of addiction...your feelings of desire aren't going to necessarily go away...but you can use your neutral mind to choose differently. You learn that you have these certain desires that are conditioned and it is a process of working through the emotion and thought wrapped up in them AND also deciding to choose differently. We have to DECIDE. Life is about making choices. Through our choices we create our experiences. At least this has been my experience. And then one day, after i had worked with the process of choosing differently (and working with what was coming up) I noticed...that particular desire no longer had a hold on me. And believe me.. I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever be free of it. I believe when it comes to desire..you have to take it from finite to infinite. Tune into what it is your Soul is desiring...rather than struggling at the level of manifestation...get to the root. Blessings in the Light, Sat Sangeet PS. Someone mentioned something the other day about..."I've been doing pretty good...but I am almost afraid to say so incase that turns it around!" This is true. Because words have power. They create. If we speak words that we are not fully congruent with...you'll be damn sure the universe will offer you an opportunity to walk your talk! By sending you are situation where you will have to exercise your new found growth and maturity, through making different choices...or you may not and you will fall down somewhat...if that happens...all you do is get back up and begin once again...committing to the light. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Your words were deeply meaningful for me, they touched my heart and mind powerfully. I would like to thank you so much. When I think I am over this or that there it comes again and I hate myself for repeating the same old mistakes. And they come in a completely unexpected way. And I AM committed to the light but I really feel very very frustrated, sad, unhappy, unworthy of so much gook things afterwards...as wasting my time and destroying all that was built with such love and enthusiasm. Thank you again and again. Sat Nam. Sotanter K

Sat Nam Sat Sangeet, It was me that said these words just yesterday and today I was confronted with a rather tense situation at work that sparked that desire again to escape and not more than a half hour later I was given the oppurtunity to partake in some marijuana but I said no. It wasn't easy cause I really wanted to but I didn't. I know I could go to my friend at any time and say "All right, give me some." and he would but that would help neither myself, the situation or him, cause he's on a spiritual path and trying to quit too. This has happened many times before and I've always fallen, looks like with all your help and support in my ability to consciously look at the situation I have prevailed for now. Now I'll try not to feel to proud of myself so I don't slip when I'm not looking. Yeah me! I meant that in a not pround way;) RaMa Kuar > > Post your free ad now!
