I just wanted to clarify my comment about the universe sending us situations to be sure we walk our talk.... I didn't mean that if we feel proud of ourselves for our new found capacities we will be knocked done a notch...but rather it's just a natural part of the learning process (the experience of coming more and more into congruency with our words that we speak) to have these experiences where we get to see where we still fall down and lack the congruency and also get to see where we actually can begin to walk our talk. I think we should feel proud of ourselves...but perhaps our idea of proud has been some what distorted in it's meaning. To me proud is more of feeling a self love. And by self I am refering to the BIG self. If we don't conjure up genuine loving feelings about ourselves...it's hard to keep moving forward. It's important to note at each phase of consciousness the word love takes on a new meaning....so in some phases love is very egocentric and in others (which is what I am refering to)...it is based on genuine love for the soul...prem I guess.
