Guest guest
Hello I am sending out a golden thread to those that may have some advice to a help with my healing. I recently (just less then a month) had my best friend and soul mate pass. We were very psyically connected and I loved him very much. He was ill and just didn't want to be here any longer. I have such waves of grief. They wash over me and take in to an abyss. I surface and am fine and then another comes and I am in that place again. I do not attach to the feelings and just allow them to be. I recently (Sat) had 5 element acupuncture and I am a yoga instructor so I know asanas for healing (I do not teach Kundilini) and the heart openers. I meditate twice daily (facing east) and recently came off a two month retreat for learning to facilitate Kriyas with John McAfee. I quess I would really be a mess if I hadn't just had that experience. I do know that all my ans. are inside of me yet I know there is more that I could do to help my pain. Guest guest
Sat Nam Harbajan.... I don't really have anything to add to what you are already doing for yourself....I think, like you already know, you just have to experience the grief and let it be released. I had a student come up to me before class this evening and she began to relay the the story of her father passing away last week and their last moments together...and she said that she didn't expect it to hurt this much...but in the next moment expressed her gratitude for having the foundation of a yogic practice and how it really helps her get through the pain. I believe, to be on a yogic path is such a blessing...it's so empowering in our moments of adversity and pain...to have a way to re-connect and move through the pain.
