Guest guest
I'm doing DHRIB DHRISTI LOCHINA KARMA KROYA What does Sa Ta Na Ma mean? And also what does Sat Nam mean? (is that pronounced saht nahm?) When you do the frontal gaze...you are basically crossed up looking slightly up? How do you maintain this???? Do you get used to it...and also if your eyes are open it seems like my eyes are constantly trying to focus on something like far away or close...it's distracting...does this just take practice? It feels uncomfortable. Amy

Guest guest
Sa = birth Ta = life Na = death Ma = rebirth Sat Nam = "identity is truth" (sometimes translated this way) When you say "frontal gaze", are you referring to focusing on the tip of your nose? If so, yes, it is distracting at first, and definitely challenges the muscles of the eye. I am doing a meditation right now that involves 31 minutes of gazing at the tip of the nose, and it has become easier with each day. You may already know this, but focusing your attention on the tip of the nose is great for stimulating your pituitary gland. Guest guest
Whoops - I meant to say pineal gland, rather than pituitary gland - sorry for the misinformation!
