Guest guest
I go through this more than I would like to admit. I believe it is the detoxing and have to trust that during this time all the work I have done is happening within. Even though your feet feel like their in cement, Just keep going every day the best you can. I'm sure our experts in the group will have more advice to help us during this transition stage. I too am eager to hear their replies. Susie
Guest guest
sat nam everyone my name is irina and i am from greece. I have been following your conversations for the last three months and i have found them really inspirational and helpfull. I am 28 and i am going through a great transitional period this last year (with lots of highs and lows), especially after the yoga festival in France this summer. So many changes are happening, lots of cleansing and releasing of the past! I am trying to deal with it but sometimes i get really stuck and dont know what to do... so i do nothing. Does anyone have any suggestion for me on what to do when i get stuck? Because this is happening at the moment and i have no energy and i feel that if i just sit and wait for " something to happen" is just an excuse! Things dont just happen...you make them happen sat nam
Guest guest
Sat Nam...Irina, Anything that stimulates the positive mind will help you to move when you feel stuck. Navel kriyas...breath of fire...chanting etc. The problem is beginning eh? You have to apply your will to get you started...then hopefully once you get going, you will begin to recieve some insight into why you are feeling so stuck? Guest guest
Sat Nam, I will add to the list of quotes by Yogi Bhajan. "There is a pathway through every problem." The problem is that we usually can't see the pathway if we stay in our mind rehashing the same old stories. This is where meditation and KY come in. If we can raise our vibration and shift our mind to neutral, we can usually get a better view of the situation. We can also get out of our own way and surrender to the unknown for the duration of a yoga set and meditation. This is what we did in the KY class I taught last night. Just for over an hour we keep surrendering to the unknown and to our own hearts. It was magical. No one was complaining about their problems at the end of the class. One lady's severe back pain was gone. We all agreed, surrender is a very useful problem solving tool. Later we are lead to the solution. It is not that we don't have to deal with our problems. But there are more agreeable and productive ways of going about living life than endulging in victimization and struggle. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur > Yogi Bhajan says dont solve problems, dissolve them. ...and he also says don't solve problems, take them to your higher centers and drop them!
