Guest guest
So I had this wonderful dream last night. I'll give the details as best I can. My mother and I go to this kirtan, Bhagavan Das was performing and my teacher was supposed to be there who I haven't seen in forever. I was wearing a long flowing red gown, loose and soft and just lovely, and a hooded cape, neither of which I have in my wardrobe. Although it was cold outside, it was delightfully warm in the dimly lit theater and I was barefoot. Mom and I had seats near the stage, but not up front, there were no chairs in front of us and the music began just after we sat down. I closed my eyes and felt someone at my feet, caressing them and then working their way up my body to my head and face where they took a hold of my face and pressed their forehead against mine. I have no idea who this person was, but knew it was a male. In my mind I heard the words, "just let go"...and in that instant a beautiful swirling light flooded my mind, space exploded into forever and I felt myself stand up and attempt to walk. Instead I flooted, hovering inches above the floor, but because of the length of my dress, no one could really see that my feet weren't touching the ground. I felt myself bump into someone who gently pushed me away from harming anyone as I was unsure of where I was going, and the voice kept going on in my head "just let go". Next thing I knew, I was walking through a garden, grey with winter's death and the promise of spring, I had a little dog in my arms and was following behind Bhagavan Das who had just shaved his dreads. Suddenly he stops, turns around and looks at me asking "What are you doing here?" I say, "Following you" and he replies lovingly, "Go home." And thats it, a wonderful dream, but not really sure what it means, hwo real it is and wondering if anyone might be able to tell what they think. Many smiles today, and much love to all. namaste.
