Guest guest
I am new to the list but have watched it for a couple of weeks and it looks like a safe and caring place. I have practiced meditation for many years but yoga only in a limited way. I started having movements of my body during meditation some years back. While researching this, I came across the concept of Kundalini but didn't know what to do about it. I just recently found this KY site. My question, in a general way, is do I need to do anything specific for these body movements which involve my torso and shoulders and neck. Are there specific meditations, breathing or asanas which would be most helpful to me? I do not have access to a teacher in my rural area. If I am being too vague, I will be glad to answer any questions. Blessings to all, Netta
Guest guest
It seems from your description that you do not take any particular asana (posture) while meditating. Even then all the postures are not suitable for everybody all the time. You may find a silent body probably with shabasana. Otherwise lot of your energy that would have supplied you the fuel for meditation will burn away for your bodily movements. My humble personal advice, if of any help, please do not feel shy to let me know! With all best wishes. Dipankar Lahiri
