Guest guest
Hi Kevin, I've had problems in the past with road rage, and came up with a mantra that is now literally taped to my dashboard: "Deeply Serene and Tranquil" Try repeating that internally a few times while smiling, and see if you don't feel calm... Guest guest
Kevin, My suggestion is given below. Lie down on your back, placing the hands on your sides with palms up, touching the tip of each small finger with tip of thumb of that hand. Then inhale and feel the air is reaching with the end of your spine, hold for one second, then exhale downward through the toes of your feet. Again hold for one second, and fell inhaling through toes reaching the end of the spine. Then again hold for one second. The exhale through your head upward. One inhalation and exhalation constitute one unit. Do it thrice. If you successfully perform this single exercise, after the last one you will feel a sort of simmering sensation throughout your body. Hope you will have it. Please let me know the results. With all best wishes, Dipankar Lahiri
Guest guest
Kevin, Try focusing on the moment, task at hand, or the quiet. There are no problems or annoyances in the present moment. If your mind is chattering away, it is either fretting about things that cannot be changed or worried about what is to come. Simply dissolve into the present. I like to concentrate on my breathing to calm me. This can be done quickly and easily any time, anywhere.
