Guest guest
Sat Nam Adarsh and others, It's been said that the big difference between the casual student of Yoga and all the great yogis, seers, mystics and saints is the degree of integration of their Yogic experience into their lives. How much do we give of ourselves to our practice? We get what we give. Do we do the emotional work? What do we do with that space once we leave the house/ashram? Is our practice/Sadhana a cornerstone for us and do we, with every breath, remember "Sat Nam, Wahe Guru"? I am not saying to zone out. I am saying that if we have a habit to "remember" then our habit will make us much more whole and integrated. Today's conscious thoughts, feelings and actions become tomorrow's subconscious. It takes a persistence. There is so much going on in our minds that we need to develop a calm center and a watchfulness. From that place one can see all, appreciate and Bless all the different levels and quirky manifestations of "reality" and see the G.O.D. in all. Yoga is Union, after all, of Body, Mind, and Spirit Sat Nam, Dharam Singh Jürgen Laske wrote: > Sat Nam all, > > > I also understand, that the answer to many problems might simply be 'do > sadhana' - have the discipline to get up, surrender your self to the > infinite, do the exercises with passion and love. > > In this context: with meditation alone you hardly find a job, but you > change the way you are feeling about and get perhaps the chance to grasp > new ideas, perhaps even gain the understanding, that the current 'bad' > situation might be the necessary birthplace for a better job / work in > the > future. OK, that's now more reasonable to tell the students ;-) Thanks! > > Blessings and regards from Shanghai, > > Adarsh S.
