After all, shouldn't he be healthy with all the cold showers he has been taking? Not that I have anything against cold showers, I have found them refreshing and really good for my body. But it's just a thing that's been puzzling me. Sat Nam, Jun Yogi Bhajan is a spiritual teacher. As such, he has sacrificed everything, absolutely everything for the sake of his students. In the 70s and 80s he traveled endlessly, almost every week he went somewhere to teach. He talked with students until late into the night. He conducted yoga and meditation classes. He as the master of White Tantric Yoga conducted three day courses every weekend. In other words, he stuck his fingers into the universal energy socket and allowed that energy to flow through him for the sake of his students. He traveled, every week, he talked, he prayed, he served and as a result his physical body took a tremendous beating. All in the cause of higher consciousness for others. I'm sure he considers the sacrifice of his single kidney a small price to pay. How do I know all this? I was one of the people who made demands on him that he never turned away from. For that reason I pray for his good health daily. ===== KartaPurkh S Khalsa God is a verb, not a noun.--Buckminster Fuller New Photos - easier uploading and sharing. Guest guest
"Girish" <girish Re: Digest Number 1748 Sat Nam, Thank u so much for the details rendered , u c i hace been practising yoga for almost bout 8 months...thutz when i learnt bout kundalini ... but i have stopped caffeine , non-veg, cigars n liquor. But then i dunt have any kinda source from where i can learn it practically nor a teacher ... but then have been reading bout da chakras from websites..and tried several times practising it ...but it turned out to be a futile attempt.. thutz when i wanna know the steps taken to perform it ..and wanna know itz spiritual and philosophical edge . Girish Dear Girish: I appreciate your apparent anxiety in this. I would suggest, apart from finding a Kundalini Yoga teacher, that you find the simplest Kundalini Yoga set you can. If you have questions about it I would be glad to answer you can contact me personally (kpsk_teacher) for any explanation you might need. Practice this simple kriya and learn about yourself from it. It's spiritual and philosophical edge will manifest within you if you are devoted and true to it. Find as well, a simple meditation to go along with it. Practice these jewels and I promise that the teacher will find you, whether it is on the physical, spiritual or astral planes. (Yogi Bhajan does more work astrally than on the physical plane these days) Meditate upon your own highest instincts. Guidance will come. Go to those websites you have been talking about, like yogatech.com and find something there. Do not worry because there is no one there with you physically. The devoted student already has a teacher. God Bless, ===== KartaPurkh S Khalsa God is a verb, not a noun.--Buckminster Fuller New Photos - easier uploading and sharing.
