Guest guest
I have recently begun Kundalini yoga and meditation and have found its effects to be remarkably fast and deep. To be honest I am afraid of its effects because I feel my life changing direction in a way that I have not anticipated. In actuality I am feeling lost and confused. I had begun a forty day meditation (guru guru wahe guru, guru ram das guru) but unfortunatley broke it. I awoke in my sleep the night that I forgot to do my meditation and felt like I had lost something so valuable. Since then I have not been able to bring myself to re-start my meditation. I want to but my negative mind is holding me back so strongly. Why can't I begin my meditation again? I also have abad case of impatientce and tend to give up things before really seeing any results. I don't want this to happen with KY as it is the most powerful tool I have experienced. I read many of the KY books which do help me keep my interest in the subject, and attend yoga classes twice a week, but what else can I do? I wish you all peace and love. Guest guest
Dear Anna-Maria, what else can I do? I wish you all peace and love. * You can be kind and patient with yourself. So you forgot one day. This is not the end of the world. Start again. However, if the program to punish yourself and feel bad about yourself is too strong, start by wishing yourself peace and love every day. Then one day you will run into your own prayers and you will want to do your meditation and you will. Self-prayer is a very beautiful thing. Anna Maria... I was exactly like you more than 25 years ago when I started to do yoga. And yoga changed my life in different ways but all of them were good for, for my family, my friends and my pupils. 1) do not worry about the future: nobody knows what is going to be.. why to worry? 2) Nor about the past, it is gone 3) Live the present, it is the most important 4) Make yoga on a daily basis (any kind of yoga) all yogas are good, read about it and start making a few minutes everyday) if you can, attend to some classes. You will see in less that 3 months how marvelous it is.. it is very difficult to explain in a few words, the only way is to try, you have nothing to loose and belive me, a lot to win. 5) think about it like a kind of investment for your happiness, nobody can do it for yourself, only you can do it. This is everybody (or should be) priority: life, love, happiness, mental and phisical health, this is yoga. If do it, nobody, nothing, will be able to bother you.
