Guest guest
Sat Nam, * Let't change the topic to spiritual journey. But, how would a Muslim, a Jew, or a Christian be able to believe that God is within us and that it isn't a sin to practice KY? * Kundalini yoga is about EXPERIENCING God within. It has nothing to do with beliefs. Beliefs are a mental discussion. Yogi Bhajan always told us, Kundalini yoga will make you a better Muslim, Jew or Christian or whatever you are are aspire to be, because you will be able to have the real experience of the teachings. BYW, the end goal is the same. Life is not about being identified with a lable. Life is about being divinely you. 2 - But, when he will die, who will take his place as master? YOU will take his place. Everyone is supposed to become a master. That is the beauty of all sprititual teachings and techniques. If we really practice them, we have have a direct connection with the Divine. 3 - Now this question is shorter. How can someone become a true master (Guru)? * There are numerous paths. KY is but one. Pick one and take it to the end and see what happens. Does he need to become a Sikh, * Absolutely not. or is it just a question of attaining and maintaining samadhi and kundalini araisal? * That is a good start. Then you need to be able to cook breakfast, do the laundry, earn a living, make a contribution to life and be kind to everyone including yourself. 5 - Is Yogi Bhajan considered human as us or more than human? * Everyone down here is human. Some are more conscious than others. 6 - Must we consider everything Yogi Bhajan says to be "holy and unchangeable" or may we come to our own conclusions based on our own beliefs and experiences? * Start with your own experience and then you will answer the question yourself. (By this, I mean the theory behind the yoga, etc.) * Theory? This question is too mental for me. Sorry, I was in academia for too long. Theory started hurting my head. Thank you very much for your patience. I hope that these questions will not seem rude or threatening in any way. I have sincere respect for Yogi Bhajan and the KY practitioners and teachers. * Respect yourself, find the appropriate path for you and be authentically yourself. These are just questions I feel I need to ask before embarking on a journey that will ultimately be fruitful in many ways. (I hope so.) * Why wait for someone else's answers to embark. Time is so precious. Life can be so sweet. It is all about you anyway. One day you will find out that when you ask a question, you will know the answer. You will just be lead and it will feel so good. And then some day you may no longer have any questions. Ahh, what a sweet place to live life. Many blessings on your journey.
