Guest guest
I am by no means an expert in this area but I had a friend who was bi-polar and the same thing happened to her when she got into spirituality. I feel in some instances medication can help stabilize the sufferer and then can be introduced to meditation, yoga, etc. to compliment treatment. There have been successes this way to the point the person no longer needs meds. He was attending a group meditation instructor course and went into mania and believed the mania was an enlightenment not mental illness. The second mania he had he became psychotic and attempted to kill me (even thought I had poisoned his mind with meditation and the yoga practices I did). In one of the books from the institute (taught by a Thai Master who has institutes all over the world) it said that meditation can be dangerous for some who have mental illness (it was in poor English and was not worded quite that way~but that was the jist of it). does anyone know about this at all? Guest guest
Well, as far as I know the meditation, as being told by the experts ( they are my Gurubhais, the fellow companions following the same Guru) it is likely to happen when someone follows or tries it in the wrong way. But, in rare cases, the bad spirit or things like that residing inside the body can cause things like that because the positive vibration and the energy surging through irritates them and such reactions appear. In such cases, you gotta find the real enlightened Guru who can guide you to the path. Only the enlightened one knows what is right for the particular body/soul and what this particular one can perform, exactly in what way. Well, does your husbabnd suffer still ??? Upto where you are eager to measure the globe to find out the real Guru??? I'm dead sure I can guide you to the one. regards
