Guest guest
Can anyone tell me the underlying priciple of Male/Female polarity in choosing left vs right positions in mudras, asanas etc. As in Sat Kriya a woman should have her left thumb crossed over her right thumb, in venus lock a man's left little finger is on the bottom and many other kriyas where the male position differs from the female. If I understood the principle I could apply logic rather than having to look it up again. Thanks, Rebecca, Chico CA
Guest guest
Sat Nam Rebecca, The male-female polarity in the human body basically works like this : Female Male Left side of the body Right side of the body Moon energy Sun energy Negative Positive Magnetic Electric Receives Projects Ida chanel Pingala chanel Left nostril cool relaxing breath Right nostril warm energizing breath My common sense tells me that as women we put our left thumb on top of the right in Sat Kriya because that's our female energy leading the way. Same for men and all the variations in the different mudras. Love and Light Sat Atma Athens, Greece
