Guest guest
Hi, I have an 8 year old daughter who I'm concerned is developing a bad posture. She stands and sits with her neck and head bent forward, her head sits forward and low rather than straight and high. I would like to give her some Yoga exercises to help strengthen her neck muscles and help her to hold herself straight. I'm concerned that if she doesn't correct it early that it might be difficult if not impossible to correct later on, and that she might even develop a more extreme bent position that will create health problems and might affect her sense of self. Any suggestions? I have thought that doing a cobra might be helpful and have thought of having her do exercises that will strengthen her neck muscles. What do you think or suggest? Thanks, TedM

Guest guest
yes, she should do everyday, 15 minutes at least: * Cobra with the neck up... as much as possible * Neck exercises: rounds, up and downs, left to right. * the fish * she may try also walking with something on her head straight, a book for example.. fish and cobra are the most important good luck Luis ----------------- Nuevo Depósito a un mes 5% T.A.E. de ING Direct http://ingdirect.ozu.es/ ----------------- Correo enviado desde http://www.ozu.es
