Sat Nam,

I hope everyone is enjoying their winter break. I myself am off to

the Punjab and other northern India locations next Sat. I have a ton of

stuff to do but before I left I wanted to know if anyone of you has some

experience with Reverse Osmosis (RO) and/or can tell me who makes good

ones and who to avoid.

I have been using Multipure solid carbon (0.5 microns) block filtration

for 10 years (unlike Brita type filters which are granule carbon

filters) and am pretty satisfied but it seems for not a lot more (on

Ebay, anyway) one can buy a RO filter with solid carbon block (1 micron)

filtration.

Thanks in advance,

Dharam Singh

Sat Nam Dharam Singh,

Sorry I don't know anything about the reverse osmosis filters. On the yatra

this year I brought a bottle with a carbon filter and it was just too small.

Also I didn't feel 100 per cent safe using it. I am ashamed to say that I

ended up using bottled water. The majority of my plastic waste actually came

from

shopping bags. I am sure you already know to carry your own and refuse the

plastic. Anyway I just wanted to wish you a phenomonal trip.

Blessings On Your

Journey,

Dev Dharam Kaur

The only limitations I have are those I impose upon myself.

Dharam,

Have you tried to go on line to Gold Mine Natural Foods? They have some pretty

snazzy filtration systems and if I remember right , the one my husband and I

were looking at was reverse osmosis and mounted under the sink. We always buy

filtered water that uses ROF and wouldn't go back for anything.

Sat Nam,
