Guest guest
Sat Nam! I'm studying in psychology and, not long ago, we raised the issue of addictions. Now, I know that addictions are never cured, only controlled, but I was wondering if there was a kundalini exercise out there that can help people deal with addictions? By addictions, I mean addictions to drugs, alcohol, pornography, chatting, etc. Sat Nam and thank you very much! Guest guest
Sat Nam, Camel Pose (not to be confused with Camel Ride) is great for dealing with substance and food addictions. Of course, Sat Kriya is excellent for dealing with all addictions, including substance, food, and especially sex addictions. A good set for dealing with addictions is "Transforming the Lower Triangle to the Higher Triangle", found in the Kundalini Meditation Manual for Intermediate Students, page 20. Finally, there is the "Medical Meditation for Habituation", found in the Kundalini Yoga/Sadhana Guidelines Manual, page 102. Humbly yours, S.S. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Almost all KY manuals can be obtained from Ancient Healing Ways at 800-359-2940. I don't have their email handy. Sorry. Swami Dev
