I cannot reply from a KY point of view, but as a mother of two little

boys I know how hard it is sometimes to not feel anger. It wasnt

untill I became a mother that I felt how much anger there was in

me; anger I had to learn to deal with. One great, great help has

been, and still is, the email list of positive parenting- discipline.

>From all the great mothers on this list I learn to teach my children

all about life in a kind, respectful and firm way. To respected and

teach my children tools for managing their behavior. to teach

them life skills and habits of self control.

.. Firm does not mean to be harsh but to be consistant, and to

take action according to your words. For more information on

positive parenting I would advise you to check out the site of one

of the members http://joanneaz_2.tripod.com/

it is a great site with a lot of information.

Then I want to wish you all the very best for 2004. I am only a

member since a couple of months and with my two little

monkies progress in KY goes sooooo slow, but I am making

progress, and I am learning a lot from you all on this list. Thank

you very much
