Guest guest
Thanks to all who replied to my intro and question. I am deeply grateful for your input. I feel secure now in moving forward. I have decided on a couple of things I want to focus on first since changing everything too quickly is too much of a shock and too overwhelming. I definitely want to do the before bed routines to aid sleep and the wake up routine to give a gentler start to my day. I am also interested in the way it is suggested to bathe in the book. Are you to wash with soap in the cold shower or are you just to put the oil on beforew and rub vigorously in the shower? And for washing your hair-should I put oil on and massage it and then the mixture of oil and yogurt and fragrance and wrap it, or can I use just oil or just the yogurt mix? Doesn't washing it deplete all that the oil just put into your hair? If not are certain shampoos recommended or to be avoided? And the book does not address facial care-is oil a good idea before the shower and rub the face also or is that too harsh for delicate skin? Just curious. I don't use make-up, never have really, but my face is starting to show signs of aging(wrinkles, larger pores, dullness, sagginess, puffiness, and dark circles) and I want to treat it well and restore a bit of youthfullness. If I'm not mistaken, the author of Kundalini yoga is into her senior years and if the pictures I see of her are recent--well, she doesn't look like she's in that age group at all! I want that! Thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge with me and others. It is a blessing to me, I hope I can bless others soon as well.
