The correct pronunciation is in the music. no matter what you spiritual avenue, I'm sure there will be many that you can enjoy and chant without feeling you are betraying your own beliefs. I recommend reading about many different spiritual beliefs as they will lead you to the divine. believe it or not my 10 year old chants right along with me when a tune grabs him.
