Guest guest
Kundalini Awakening And Uranus Opposition Thank you Deb and Adesh for sharing your experience and knowledge about kundalini awakening and Uranus opposition. I am 47, began studying astrology at the time of my Uranus opposition, and am well acquainted with Barbara Clow's work and that of other spiritual astrologers. After reading your posts, I better understand some of my own experiences. I guess I limited my concept of the Kundalini experience to the idea of this intense rush of energy and the importance of making sure one's chakras are fully open by the time of the Chiron return (around age 50), ie., the time of Kundalini Rising. Now I get the idea that at the time of the Uranus opposition, there is a call to begin preparation for the Chiron return, i.e., the Kundalini Awakening. I experienced some unususl visions at some rather inopportune times (like when I was working as a litigation attorney, burning the midnight oil preparing for a trial). I also had a series of tidal wave dreams at the time which make sense now, but then, did not. I would like to share some of the visions in case anyone out there knows something about their meaning. Sometimes while just resting with my eyes closed, I would see an eye in the third eye area. A couple of times this turned into a sphere, resembling the earth, and then a circular portal, through which I could see stars, as in the night sky or outer space. I did not venture through the portal, as I had not invited this experience and did not feel ready for it. I don't think this was a mere third eye opening, as I had experienced third eye visions intermittently since childhood. If anyone has a better understanding of them, I'd appreciate your input. Something tells me these symbols are pretty universal. Tree Pose I have practiced hatha yoga for 20 years, but discovered and began practicing kundalini yoga about 6 months ago, using Gurutej Kaur's Chakra Yoga Video, and supplementing with lessons from the yogatech.com website. It has been wonderful. I want to practice the kriya set from the above-mentioned video before dawn while learning a kriya set from another video later in the day. Practicing the set quietly in the dark is enjoyable and fine until I get to tree pose. Holding balance, which is easy in daytime, seems impossible. I have tried focusing on an imaginary spot in the dark. I have tried focusing on one of those little red lights that is always lit from a power surger. I have tried with my eyes closed. Does anyone have experience with successfully practicing tree pose before dawn? Sat Nam, Linda.
Guest guest
You postponed something there. You were ready on some level. It's why it opened up for you. Don't hold back next time. You are on the verge of a breakthrough of some sort but you need to make the move to meet it. There is definitely some breakthrough of understanding available to you right now. Not just the usual 'great things are happening' garbage. But something is *right there* for you. Go for it. Walk toward the fear. Don't put it off. You're just burning daylight. Guest guest
Sat Nam Linda, This is regarding your quote.... "Sometimes while just resting with my eyes closed, I would see an eye in the third eye area. A couple of times this turned into a sphere, resembling the earth, and then a circular portal, through which I could see stars, as in the night sky or outer space." I too have this vision. As a matter of fact, whenever I close my eyes there is a constant dark blue, indigo or bluish green ball of energy, it changes colors but usually constant for a certain period of time. During meditation this sphere frequently takes on the image of an eye, pupil and all. Several times after doing breath of fire or other naval exercises when you hold the breath in, I feel an immense amount of energy surging throughout my body and to my head. This energy then "pushes me" out of my body and I feel as though I am surrounded in this deep and neverending space. I become completely engulfed in Infinity. During this time I am in a very deep trance and experience an intense amount of insight and understanding about myself and the nature of reality etc. Many questions have been answered during this time and the only word that comes to mind is "clarity," complete and total clarity. Its a very powerful experience, but they usually only last with intensity for about 10-15 seconds, sometimes longer. But under the influence of Kundalini intoxication as i refer to it as, I am completely liberated from all external forces and become one with my innermost Being and the presence of God. This is what seems to be the general goal of Kundalini, is to create this awareness of ourselves and inturn all exhistence and integrating it into our everyday lives to better ourselves and our surroundings. These visions are what keep me motivated to continue my practice and further my knowledge of life and its complexities. Im not sure if I have helped you in better understanding youre experiences but I enjoyed sharing mine with you all. Guest guest
Thank You Pieter for the Kriya sets. I will practice 2,3, and 6 in daylight until I can perform all of the tree pose variations with my eyes closed. Thank You Lim and Brenda for your insights and advice on the visions. I have taken them to heart. How wonderful it is to be able to connect with a support group where one can find guidance when encountering confusion or other obstacles along the spiritual path.
