Guest guest
SAT NAM, I feel very greatful to Yogi Bhajan and to all the people on the list for being the prime cause for a shift in me and continued growth and happiness in me. Being an Indian and even though not being unfamiliar with yoga, I can bodly assert that the KY as taught by Yogi Bhajan is really to its depth and brings about profound changes in indiviusal if SADHANA is practised daily as per the instructions and devoution. I was benefitted greatly by just reading the online KY lessons given by GRK. Gururattana Kaur, as per our discussion few days back on befriending our body, I can say that for every situation now, I take a pause feel the underlying emotion within me and then respond trying to understand what it is teaching me. I have started getting a glimpse of how I can set myself free from this bondage although a long way to go. I would like to express my reverence to Yogi Bhajan by offering either donations or through paying it forward. Could you please brief on donation information towards yogatechnology or to Yogi Bhajan directly? Also, If you could list some of the ways in which we could contribute to the growth of this, that will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all. SAT NAM. Guest guest
Dear Akkama, *Thank you for sharing with us the unfoldment of your awareness of self. I feel very greatful to Yogi Bhajan and to all the people on the list for being the prime cause for a shift in me and continued growth and happiness in me. *Gratitude is a very uplifiting quality for everyone. Teachers are blessed to be able to share technology that works, but the "prime cause" for your shift is that you actually practiced. You actually face your issues, pay attention to your energies and are in the process of cultivating an awareness of your Self. Being an Indian and even though not being unfamiliar with yoga, I can bodly assert that the KY as taught by Yogi Bhajan is really to its depth and brings about profound changes in indiviusal if SADHANA is practised daily as per the instructions and devoution. * That's it. Practice, attention, loving devotion, reverence for life. I was benefitted greatly by just reading the online KY lessons given by GRK. Gururattana Kaur, as per our discussion few days back on befriending our body, I can say that for every situation now, I take a pause feel the underlying emotion within me and then respond trying to understand what it is teaching me. * This is great news. I can tell you you are actually feeling the emotions and not just talking about them. Moving from mental thoughts and discussions to energy awareness is what facilitates the shifts. The body and emotions want your attention. The more you pay attention to them, the more they relax and communicate with you What better thing to do with your mind? I have started getting a glimpse of how I can set myself free from this bondage although a long way to go. * We all have a long way to go. As Yogi Bhajan said to an enthusiastic student, "There is more." Sat Nam! Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Dear Akkama Thank you for your inspiring message. It is great to hear from folk who are achieving such wonderful results from their Kundalini Yoga practice. Yogi Bhajan brought Kundalini Yoga to the West in order to share the technology with all who could benefit from it and to support individual creativity and happiness. Possibly the best way you could thank him for that would be by helping to share the technology of Kundalini Yoga with others - finding more students or perhaps becoming a teacher yourself. You already seem to have one of the basic requirements in that you come across as a very heart-centered person. The other area you could consider is this. Yoga Technology has set up Heart Quest Foundation as a non-profit 501 ©(3) organization, whose aim is to reach out to people globally and share with them how to incorporate Kundalini Yoga into their daily lives. You can find out more about Heart Quest and its objectives by going to heartquest.html Sat Nam!
