These two kriyas have really helped. Balancing the glands is really important.

I discovered a shorter one from the Relax and renew book. You put your left arm

bent at the elbow and parallel to the ground with your palm facing your chest.

grab your left arm around the wrist with 4 fingers from your right hand not

encircling the wrist with your thumb and pull down resisting with left arm

pulling up and right arm pulling down. Hold for 2-3mins. This strengthens your

adrenal glands (they help you deal with stress), kidneys, and creates excessive

secretion from the glands in your head. Giving you relief from anxiety, more

confidence and helps memory. Try it.

Now im into kundalini yoga and its the best thing I found. If you have 15

minutes there's this exercise which really has helped me. It has made my

thinking more precise and given me alot of confidence. I act less obnoxious and

generally feel better. In the two weeks i have been practicing it i sleep less

and do more. It builds steel like stamina, and readjusts and recharges your

nervous system and immune system. And gets you ready to kick some ass.

1) Sit indian style with back against the wall

2) extend both arms like wings 30 degrees forward from

your sides keeping your elbows staight.

3) Left arm, your palm faces the floor, right arm pinkie

and ring finger are tucked under your thumb and index and middle finger are

pointed out to the side like a gun.

4) Right arm remains still throughout exercise.

5)Left arm (elbow straight) moves up and down 9 inches,

flapping like a wing but with elbow staight.

6) Breath through nose like a steam engine (like breath of

fire) at exhaling and inhale at stomach. The stomach should jump automatically

with the left arm. exhaling when the arm goes down and inhaling when it goes up.

7) do this for 11 minutes! It will hurt, but keep elbows

straight. Do it for a shorter time, i know you had rotator cuff surgery, but

this shouldn't aggravate it, but go by what you feel, obviously. It should hurt.

8) After 11mins holding arms out, inhale and tense every

muscle in your body and inhale and hold for 30 secs., then exhale, inhale and

repeat for 20 secs., then 10 secs. finally.

9) Criscross hands and palms together, back of right hand

facing heart/solar plexus and back of left hand forward.

10)Inhale and squeeze hands together so hard until you

shake for 15 secs. Do this 3 times. Relax.

Breath control is mind control. This ancient pranyama (breath

exercise) is one of the most powerful. It opens and recharges every pranic

center in your body. And gets rid of emotional garbage which can tire you out.

Try it and judge for yourself. It has worked so well for me, i dont feel have as

crazy as i used to, and im not as hyperactive. They used to call me the

non-sequitor king in University, cause i had a hard time sticking to one

subject. Now, I think better, remember more, and act better.
